Pin Hole Camera
A pin hole camera basically has the same design as any average film camera. The main things you need are a box, film paper, a hole to let light in, and a shutter.
For the box, you have to make sure that absolutly no light can get in. One of the ways of doing this is spraying painting the whole box black, or putting dark tape around the edges. For our box, we put dark green tape around the edges or any area that had chances of letting light in.
Next, we poked a small hole in the front of the box so that there was an area to let light in.
After we poked this hole, we made the shutter using a Yugioh card that had been supplied by one of the members of the team, we taped it to the side of the hole so that it could be moved at any time depending on when we wanted light to be let in.
Once we had the box completely built, we put photo paper on the opposite wall where the hole was, so that whatever light was let in would go onto the photo paper. When we wanted to put the photo paper in, we had to go into the dark room so that it was completely dark. Once the photo paper was in, we went outside and exposed it for one minute and then closed the shutter. After this, we had to go back in the dark room, remove the photo paper, and put it in a dark bag. We have yet to get the photos developed so we are not sure how they turned out.
